We are extremely excited to announce the appointment of Julian Stone as the Head Coach of the Grammar TEC Premier Men’s squad for the upcoming 2019 season.

Julian is a very experienced coach, bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion to the club. He has been a successful coach at the Manurewa RFC, where he headed the U17s, U19s and U21s teams to winning championships before stepping up to the Premier side.

He then moved up to into the representative grades coaching the Counties Manukau U16s, U18s and U20s during the Northern Region campaigns and then progressed to assist with the Chiefs U18s for two years. Julian’s recent coaching pathway saw him as the Premier Head Coach at Ardmore Marist RFC for 3 years where he lead the side to a championship season in 2013.

Julian is well travelled and during his playing career he took the field in England, Wales, USA, Canada and Hong Kong. We are sure with his fantastic playing and coaching Premier background he will be a great appointment for the club.

Everyone at Grammar TEC is excited to have Julian on board and we look forward to working with him in 2019. The rest of the Premier coaching team will be announced in the near future and we know they will lead the club well in the upcoming rugby season.
