The Sir Wilson Whineray Scholarship
The Sir Wilson Whineray Memorial scholarship is an honour befitting such an outstanding New Zealander who achieved so much in his life time.
The objective for the scholarship is to support a school leaver who displays the potential to develop the attributes and success of Sir Wilson Whineray. This scholarship supports the recipients full time tuition at a tertiary institution to the maximum value of $5,000 annually and is awarded for a term of up to three years* all while playing their rugby at the Grammar TEC Rugby Club.
Applications are open now for the 2023 scholarship and close on Friday 28th October 2022.
*Recipients are required to pass all papers in the semester which the fees are to cover. Tenure of the scholarship is dependent on satisfactory academic and sporting achievement as determined by the club’s Scholarships Sub-Committee.
