Our @pink_construction U21s have a score to settle against @maristrugby421 and Captain Charles Gemmel returns after a week away running the cutter with @touchblacks.

Disappointed to let last weeks encounter slip away,the skipper is adamant his lads will be putting Marist on notice at Orakei Domain.

“We had a good week in review and identified a few things from last week and a lot of its around execution and staying on script”

This weeks training has seen coaches put the acid on the troops and ensure all we’re on the same page with the challenge ahead.

“GTEC owe Marist who have been the dominant team over the past two years winning back to back championships including a 2021 upset in the final so we can’t take them lightly regardless of where they currently sit on the points table”

Assistant coaches @josh_hansen4 and @marcel_miloharris know first hand as both were part of that 2021 squad.

“Yeah I think us boys can use a bit of that history to give us a boost on the field and hopefully give our coaches a big hug after the game ay haha”

Game kicks off at Orakei Domain v Marist at 1pm.
